Default lost money changing guilds

Like a couple weeks ago i changed guilds and wanted to help upgrade the guild. I went to my storage and noticed i had 0g in my storage when like the day before i had almost 9k(i know its not alot to most people but its the most i have ever saved up since). So i was wondering do you lose all you money when you change guilds or is it a glich and i need to contact guild wars?

It could be anything. A glitch, like you said, you could have spent it or it's in the wallet of one of your other chars.

Another possibility, pessimistic as it may be, is that your new guild ripped you off. Did you happen to sign up for a forum membership within the guild's website? An unscrupulous administrator, aware that people tend to use the same email address and password for all their online activities, might have accessed your GW account.

I'm not saying that there aren't other equally-plausible explanations for your loss, but this one has been reported in the past.

Leaving a guild by choice should cost 10k.

While I find leavers and annoying as the next Leader, I find both these comments overboard.

Alias, he could have left for a good reason (The leader is an idiot, the guild has entered an irreversable state to deadness etc)

Chris, the invite only cost 100g, so I hope that was exaggeration.

Unfortunately it could be a variety of things. If you are CERTAIN you didn't spend it on something then check ALL of your characters. Do you have any PvP only characters that you often delete and rebuild? Would they have had the money when you deleted them? Did you, like October asked, join any guild websites? If so did you use the same passwords and usernames? Last question - have you experienced anything like this before or any other glitch-like effects from the game?

@Chris. I THINK you are joking but I'll make an debate anyways I completely disagree because often we end up in guilds in which don't want to be in. I am always a stickler for joining a new guild. I am never sure if what I'm getting into will be what I want. This is why I say, "I am interested in your guild but I am currently very open to all varities, but looking for something in particular. If for whatever reason I decide to leave your guild I do apologize. In case this happens I would like to offer to pay the 100g invite." This makes it so I can feel guilt free, if they accept or don't, if I leave. I have had to do this a couple of times due to lack of interest in the guild after a week and another time when I decided to join up with old friends (my current guild.)

yea I thought the same thing several months ago and it turned out one of my character I rarely use had a mess of gold on it... So At some point I just went in there and grabbed gold from storage and never put it back... Its easy enough to do...

What HAS happened in the past is people have done that and then went and deleted their character for a reroll!! Sometimes this can end up being REALLY expensive!!!

Never use the same sign on for all your net items, my brother lost his steam, GW and WoW accounts due to this. Some clan he was in jacked his accounts and he can't play anymore unless he changes stuff.
